Renuva injections are very tolerable, especially since we use topical numbing and, when needed, additional local anesthetic to ensure your comfort. You may feel a slight pinch or pressure during the injections, but the sensation is generally mild and short-lived. After treatment, you might experience temporary tenderness or swelling in the area, similar to what you’d feel after other injectable procedures, for a few days.

The number of appointments varies depending on your goals and how much volume restoration is desired. Many patients achieve their ideal results with just one session, while others may need a series of treatments spaced a few weeks apart to build gradual, fuller results. Because Renuva stimulates your own fat growth, we monitor your progress over time and adjust your plan as needed.

Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, which offer immediate volume, Renuva works slowly as your body regenerates new fat cells in the treated area. Initial improvement may appear within several weeks, with full results developing over the next two to three months. This gradual progression is one of the major advantages of Renuva, especially for patients who prefer discreet, subtle enhancement without a noticeable “overnight” change. Once established, the results are long-lasting since they are created from your own natural tissue.
